The Rolling Stones ~ It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It) ~ The Bridges to Babylon Tour

The Rolling Stones ~ It's Only Rock 'n' Roll (But I Like It) ~ The Bridges to Babylon Tour
Stones Guitarist Ron Wood said of this song: "That was recorded in my house in 1974. In Richmond. The original tape was made there in my studio with Willy Weeks on bass, Kenny Jones on drums, me on guitar, and David Bowie and Mick on vocals. And Keith said, 'I've taken the precaution of wiping all of your guitars.' And I said, 'Oh, mate. This is the guy I'm gonna have to spend some time with. I suppose I better get used to it.' I said, "But you forgot one thing, Keith. You forgot my 12 string." And he said, "No. I left that on." So that's still on there. It's still got a flavor of the original recording."

'It has been a fascinating journey since 1996 [in England], where we were treated like, if I may use the term, second-class citizens. We would get the first tour of the [cold] summer in England, [would be] s! ent to smaller grounds,' he pointed out. 'The respect that the team now has is not only due to the performances of the Indian team, but also due to the work put in by the officials of the BCCI.' Dravid went on to personally thank every member of the team whom he thought contributed in his journey as a professional cricketer. 'Sourav... our relationship was a bit like that of a husband and wife, which had its ups and downs. But I feel we came out with flying colours. Laxman... thank you for one of my ...
